The following terms apply to all 3 companies of the Kyniska group which are:
(1) Kyniska Palace Conference & Spa (PANAMOS SA)
(2) Princess Kyniska Suites & spa (KOSMOSEL SA)
(3) Kyniska Hotel (Kyniska)
1. Scope
These terms and conditions are between you and Kyniska Hotels Group and apply to all bookings of any services booked through this platform.
You agree that you will make reservations in good faith for legitimate use by you and your invited guests only and not for any other purpose, including but not limited to reselling, impermissibly assigning or posting on third party websites, or making speculative, false or fraudulent reservations or any reservation in anticipation of demand.
2. Tax
The charges agreed when you made your reservation will apply to your booking. All charges are inclusive of VAT and and must be paid in local currency.
3. Cancellation and no-show
Want to cancel a reservation? If you choose to cancel this service up to 48 hours prior then the deposit will be refunded. If you choose to cancel within the 48 hour limit the deposit is not refundable.
No-show cases are treated as not cancelled reservations and are not refundable.
4. Invoice/ Receipts
Invoices/ Receipts cannot be modified after the end of service.
5. Age
If you are underaged and you are not accompanied by someone of age 18 or older Kyniska Hotels Group reserves the right to refuse any services.
6. Pets
Unfortunately, we don’t allow pets.
7. No smoking
We are a non-smoking establishment. Smoking in all hotel premises and all services offered is prohibited and tampering with the fire alarm will result in a fine.
8. Lost and found
You acknowledge and agree that Kyniska Hotels Group cannot be held liable for lost, damaged or stolen items. If you leave an item behind, it is your own responsibility to retrieve such item.
9. WIFI (free of charge)
Our wireless network is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. We do not warrant that access to our wireless network will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free at all times or will meet your requirements. We are not responsible for the security, integrity, accuracy or completeness of any information that you transmit or receive while using our wireless network.
Our wireless network is provided to you at our discretion. Your access may be blocked, suspended or terminated for any reason.
You may not (i) use our wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited, (ii) use our wireless network in such a manner as to host a web or other server, send or facilitate the sending of bulk e-mail or collect third party personal data without appropriate consent, (iii) exceed typical bandwidths relevant to the period that you use our wireless network, (iv) resell, or attempt to resell, our wireless network to any third party.
We maintain a log of technical traffic data of your usage activity for system performance, maintenance purposes, for the purpose of processing criminal offences and system security requirements. We process personal data collected by us in connection with your use of our wireless network is subject to our Privacy Statement. By using our wireless network, you consent to such processing.
10. Force majeure
Kyniska Hotels Group does not accept liability or pay any compensation for our failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control, (natural) disaster, fire, (acts of) war and terrorism, strikes, riots, civil disorder, governmental regulations, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions or any other exceptional and catastrophic event, circumstance or emergency, making it impossible, illegal or preventing us from providing the services.
11. Privacy
During the reservation process and your stay Kyniska Hotels Group collects your personal data. These data are processed in accordance with our Privacy Statement and also according to any GDPR applicable laws and regulations.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions and any bookings made under them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek law. This choice of law is without prejudice to consumer protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement by virtue of the law which, in the absence of any choice, would have been applicable in the country where you reside.
Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.
There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.
Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.
We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
